Independent Project Engineering
We are Independent Project Engineering, a leading UK based broadcast Systems Integrator. We specialise in installing technology across TV, Radio, New Media, Government and Corporate environments. Established in 1983, we are management owned, free of any commercial ties to manufacturers or distributors. This gives us complete freedom when designing a system based on a client’s specification, and we will work with any preferred suppliers that our clients may choose, on a full procurement or free issue basis.
Inspired Project Engineering
Inspired by our clients, we are here to help turn their ideas, excitement and enthusiasm into reality. We offer a complete end-to-end service from system consultancy, design, pre-build, testing, configuration, installation, to system hand-over and training. We also offer each part of the service in a modular approach that means our clients can work with us as they prefer. We are used to delivering projects in new buildings, refurbishments of existing buildings and even moving studios seamlessly from one location to another. Whether it’s a full TV or radio studio, post production house, corporate video or AV facility, parliamentary setting, studio lighting installation, or flyaway portable production unit, IPE are here to help.
Innovative Project Engineering
ST2110, AES67, PTPv2, AoIP, NDI, Virtual Production, UHD. IP standards, protocols and emerging technologies that IPE engineers are experienced in configuring and installing, to ensure your facilities are future relevant. AoIP based radio studios, ST2110 capable production studios and infrastructure, IP control and monitoring systems – we can help specify and install them all. And if “traditional” technologies such as 3G-SDI, AES3, analogue audio and GPIOs are more appropriate, then we have decades of experience installing baseband systems too. With sustainability now at the forefront of many companies’ decision making, IPE can advise on the environmental impact of technical equipment and installations and suggest alternative approaches if necessary. IPE work closely with suppliers and manufacturers, and will aim to work collaboratively at all stages to ensure the best outcome for the project, harnessing expertise to deliver results.
International Project Engineering
Production studios in Paris, a radio studio in Singapore, a studio gallery in Germany, a news bureau in Newcastle, local radio in Liverpool, and lots in London! Just a handful of projects we’ve worked on both in the UK and overseas. IPE are happy to advise on, quote for and work on projects across the globe.
